That's why we are regularly crowned test winners at the Stiftung Warentest, the German independent testing organisation that German’s wouldn’t buy a car seat without! –equivalent to Which? consumer magazine in the UK

The original kiddy impact shield is made of a highly energy- and shock-absorbing material and offers the very best impact protection in the event of a head-on collision.
The kiddy shock absorber (KSA) is a kind of crumple zone for an older child between 4 and 12 years that on impact absorbs the energy from the seatbelt and keeps it away from your child. This works once your youngster reaches more than 15kg, so from about 3 or 4 years (car seat weight group 2), when s/he is secured in the car seat without an impact shield and just using the adult 3-point seatbelt.
Honey Comb and Honey Comb V2 are high-performance materials that offer the best protection in the event of side impact and are used by kiddy in the head and shoulder areas of the child.
All kiddy car seats are EEC approved. The EEC label on the seat shows that it has been thoroughly tested before going on sale, and that it complies with the latest European safety requirements.
For kiddy meeting the minimum requirements is not enough. We strive to make our designs as safe as possible therefore we do our own research and testing in-house and subject our car seats to the toughest test requirements.
